Hi you all!

I was wondering: does anyone know if there is a "sort"-function for galleries?

Since I start uploading captions, I would like them to be ordered, just like an ongoing story. However, after uploading the gallery is randomly ordered - despite me ordering the images with a numbered file name and uloading in that order (though in Bulk).

I would be delighted if anyone knew of such a function.

I´ll never follow that trend to randomly add people as friends by the thousands, so dont bother asking.

The first thing you should know is that uploads here go up in order of processing rather than being ordered by filename, so numbering them makes no difference to how they display here. The first file uploaded is always the last one displayed in the gallery, and the last is the first to be displayed. If you are uploading a series that you wish to show in a specific order you should upload them in reverse (if numbered 1-10 upload them in order 10-1). It's also worth a mention that if some files are smaller than others in the batch you are uploading they will be processed faster than others which may screw up the order anyway. The best way to ensure you are displaying the contents of a gallery in the order you want is to upload them all first, then create a new gallery and add them to it in reverse order (remembering that they will display last file first etc). Yeah, I figured they ended up random, thats why I asked if there is a function to order them. I didn't find anything in the "Manage Uploads"-section (of course I looked before I asked. :) ) so...

It seems I would have to upload them one by one, adding to a Gallery and hoping they don't mix up?
In that case I would give up on uploads right away. :(
