The technique I use is I just ignore it, dont click on it, and it just goes away like magic. I also keep an eye on the status bar and only click on hyperlinks with a motherless.com address.

hahaha, was thinking the same thing, the blue box around it gives you a heads up not to click it.

I don't see the blue box, it looks like every other thumbnail in my browser.

for some reason my browser puts a blue outline around all the ones that are those spam ones, maybe it's my virus protection doing it for me.
